I wanted to share a quick experience that might help others who are struggling with Google Merchant Center and product feeds
When I first started setting up Google Shopping for my Shopify store everything seemed fine from the surface I connected my store synced products and expected them to appear in Merchant Center instantly
But that didn’t happen
Some products were missing some were stuck in pending and a few were getting disapproved without clear reasons
At that point I thought maybe the issue was with my store or product data so I started exploring different apps and methods to sync my feed
I tried a couple of apps but either the setup was too complicated or I didn’t have enough control over the feed settings and attributes
That’s when I came across Wixpa Google Shopping Feed
What I liked about it was how structured and flexible the setup process was it actually guided me step by step and allowed me to control things like product ID format inventory rules and feed configuration more clearly
After setting up my feed properly using Wixpa and making sure all required attributes were aligned my products started appearing correctly in Merchant Center and the disapproval issues were reduced significantly
One thing I also realized during this process is that most of the problems are not random they usually come from missing or incorrect data like product titles descriptions GTIN shipping settings or policy pages
So my takeaway is
Take time to properly understand your feed setup instead of rushing it
And Use a tool that gives you control and clarity over your product data
