I recently switched to shopify payments , now all the sudden they have frozen my funds .. has anyone else dealt with this .. there is over 5k in there .. I now it’s not a lot but I have a family to feed and I need this money

There are various reasons as to why your Shopify Payments payouts are put on hold. Typically, it can be due to a standard review. When you go through a standard review, we likely require you to submit documents to us that we need to verify. You can check if this is the case when you go to your Shopify admin as we will advise you via a banner on your admin homepage.
If you don’t see any indication that you need to submit documents for verification, we’ll need to access your account and check the reason behind the hold.
