slide show stretching the images making them look bad, how to not stretch the image, i have viewed the community here i found a solution from 2020 that it is not even working, please help as this is so frustrating

It will look like this or need to increase height of your banner very much to make your image not stretch
no i mean i do not want the slide show to stretch the images
So please change resolution of image is 2500x900 or 1900x600 px
Is there an automated method to adapt images automatically, or do I need to manually edit each image I upload?
