Why are my website headers inconsistent across two different themes?

My old website is updating according to my navigation page perfectly fine. However, when I added a new theme to my account (one of Shopify’s template websites), the headers were inconsistent and didn’t have any of the drop-down menus that were on my old website.

@ELMUSA - does previous theme have any mega menu option? or any option to show dropdown menu which you clicked from customize settings?

please check new theme header settings in customize section

On my old website, I couldn’t edit anything because it was a custom-made website that was imported to Shopify which I no longer have access to.

This is what I see on the old website when I try to edit any settings like you said.

As for the NEW theme, I did find a setting here but nothing happened when I changed it back and forth from “Dropdown,” or “Mega menu.”
