Empty collection pages despite products being added to collections. Clicking a collection shows “no products found,” even though items are active and assigned.
Key guidance provided:
Confirm you created actual Collections (Products > Collections) vs. only adding a “Collection list” section in the theme.
Ensure collections and products are available to the Online Store sales channel and have Active status (not just POS).
In the theme editor, check the Default collection template and make sure the Product grid section is visible/not hidden.
Verify products are published to relevant Markets (Online Store > Markets > Manage).
Outcomes:
Original poster confirmed the issue is resolved after following the checks.
Another member still sees “no products found” across all collections and featured collections; admin preview also shows empty. An image is attached showing the empty product grid.
A third member (Dawn 15.2.0) resolved the issue by enabling products for the Online Store (they were only enabled for POS).
Status: Partially resolved. Action items remain for the unresolved case to re-check sales channel availability, Market publishing, and theme Product grid visibility; clarify use of Collections vs. Collection list section.

Is your collection a manual or automated collection?
Which theme are you currently using?
Based on what you described it sounds like you’ve set up your collections and connected them to your online store, but when you go to your collection page on your online store, no products appear. Typically when this happens it’s caused by the way products are set up in the Shopify admin. To fix this I recommend going through the following steps to make sure everything is set up to be displayed on your online store:
Check that the Product grid section isn’t hidden on your collection pages in the theme editor. To open your theme editor go to Online store > Themes > Customize. From there, select the Default collection template at the top of the page and you should see the Product grid section there.
Check that your products are published to a market in your Market settings by clicking Manage next to each market and making sure the missing products are available there. This guide has more information to help with this.

Hi Erin I have tried this all and have gotten no results, I have made many collections and want to make a page for all my collections so that customers can choose which collection to shop from, but when I click on a collection there are no products in that collection when the products in the admin are active and in that specific collection, all it reads in product details are no product found, the products are not missing. This is consistent with all my collections, even when I input a featured collection the products do not show it only shows the default place holder. When I go into the collection in admin and preview it it comes up with no products found in the product grid, even when there are products in that collection in admin that are active and have been published. I have published them to the store, i have been looking for a solution but I have not been able to find one for a long time. pls help me
I am also having this issue. I notice that if I go to the product pages and preview the products, they show up fine. I am not able to generate “product pages” on my theme page editor, and I’m wondering if that has to do with anything?
The only products that show up on my store are the default preview ones from the theme. I’m using Dawn 15.2.0 (just updated it), My collections were prepared on my store and appear on the theme editor, but do not post the products despite being successfully listed when customizing the theme.
My products were enabled for point of sale and not for online shop, mistake of wanting to do only in person originally. sorry about that, got it figured out
