I’m encountering an issue with the Search & Discovery app’s filters on the categories page in the frontend.
I’ve recently added 6 new products, but I can only see 3 of them visible on my frontend collection page.
I’m not willing to pay for premium apps since this particular feature is essential. I fail to see the justification for paying extra when I’m content with the app’s basic features. Unfortunately, even these basic features aren’t working as they should.
I must admit that I tried a premium app and didn’t encounter this issue. It appears that the Search & Discovery app is not programmed well.
I’m perplexed as to why Shopify seems to offer poorly programmed apps deliberately, seemingly to encourage users to opt for premium alternatives.
In the community, people are suggesting using developer services to address issues or advising the use of freemium apps. However, all the freemium apps I’ve checked have limitations.
A Shopify moderator mentioned that I should ask Shopify developers to clear my filters cache, but it’s not feasible for me to do that every time I make a change.
