Why are only some products displaying on my online store page?

hi! I recently started my shopify shop and at first all of my products were showing but now only 4 out of 9 are showing when I click on the products page. I’m not using any collections and all items are linked to show in online store. I double checked that the menu navigation for my “ready to wear” page selects all products and it does.. and it even shows 9 items. But for some reason when I’m viewing the page only 4 are displayed. I deleted the menu item and recreated it and the same thing is happening.. please help! thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

to try to fix the problem i created collections and tagged each item “ready to wear”.. and still only 4 products are showing.

For this you need to change code in theme files for product

Hi, @woolsonclothing . I’m happy to look into this with you! Do you have an example of what this looks like on your storefront?

There are a few things that could be causing this, but there are some troubleshooting steps you can go through to double check everything is set up to show all of your products.

  • Make sure that each product is available to the ‘Online Store’ sales channel. You can find the steps to include or exclude products from sales channels here.
  • Make sure that each product has an active status. This guide has more information on product status’.
  • Check your market settings by going to Settings > Markets and clicking Manage next to each of your markets. Make sure the missing products are available there. This guide on publishing a product to a specific market can help further.
  • View your storefront using a new unedited free shopify theme. To do this, add a new Shopify theme from the theme store to your admin. Once it’s added go to Online store > Themes and click > Preview on the theme you added. If products on your storefront are appearing correctly with this new theme, the issue is likely related to the theme you have published. If the same products are missing when you’re viewing this new theme, the issue is being caused by something else and we’d need to look into it some more.

Please try that out and let me know if you have any questions! If it’s still not working after these steps I’d also recommend reaching out to our live support team so that we can look into this with you further. We can’t see your settings over the Shopify Community, but if you reach out to us through this page we can review this with you in more detail.
