Why are some customer names and emails showing as N/A in sales reports?

I got a problem. Whenever the customer wants to purchase our products, they have to leave their name and email address in the checkout page. But when I checked the sales by customer name report, some of the customer names and customer emails listed as N/A. Anyone knows why? and how to fix it?

I would like to make sure I have understood you correctly. So can I just confirm that you edited your checkout form options to require that your customer enter both a first and a last name? And when checking your sales by customer name reports you said that some names are still showing up as “NA”?
