Since two weeks ago every 10 min or so I’ve been getting multiple active carts when there are no visitors in the store at the time. Those carts does not show at the add to carts in Analytics.
On the live view there are “Active cart” graphs rise and the visitors counter shows 0, these carts does not show in Analytics.
It has been happening to me too. The weird part is that I can see activity (albeit minor, just one bar) in the real time page views within a minute, but it says I have 0 visitors. At the same time there are supposedly two people checking out. However, like you, none of this is showing up in the statistics. I’m unsure how to resolve this either - thought I’d respond in solidarity!
Live View shows real time data of what is going on in the shop at the moment. This can include bot activity which can result in active carts without visitor sessions being created. Reports such as the Online Store Conversion Over Time Report provide more robust and accurate data matching carts with visitor sessions.
