Why are website pages appearing as products?

We encountered a strange issue with our Shopify website. It seems that “pages” are showing up as products. How do we correct this? Any help would be most appreciated!

For example, if clicking on a specific page on your storefront leads to a product page instead.

It is possible that you may need to update your navigation. You can view and modify your online store navigation directly from your admin. Follow the steps below to do so:

  1. Go to your Shopify admin and navigate to Online Store > Navigation.
  2. Click on the title of the menu that you want to edit and select one of the menu items that are affected.
  3. Check the Link field and ensure that the correct page is connected.
  4. If necessary, update the link and save your menu item.

To explain a little further, you will see that pages like “Customer Service” and “Order and Returns” are showing up as out of stock products.

It appears that this issue can stem from the search function on your stores. If you are using a third party app for this feature, I suggest uninstalling it or contacting their support team.
