We recently enabled the “Automatically send abandoned checkout emails” option.
But messages are not sent automatically after the required time has elapsed. The Email Status is “Not Sent” with the note “This checkout was not created by the Online Store or Buy Button sales channel”.
With what it can be connected? For understanding, we have our own custom website where we use the Shopify Storefront API.
And one more unpleasant problem: in the situation described above, we cannot send an email manually, because the email template is broken.
However, if we manually send an email for the Abandoned checkout created before “Automatically send abandoned checkout emails” was enabled, then the template looks fine. With what it can be connected?
