I have both my discount codes set to automatic. They both show set to combine. The link shows that they combine to each other. When I go to check out with the qualifying items, it only gives me one code. Am I doing something wrong?

- Check that the discounts youâre applying allow for combining with other discounts.
- Check that the conditions set for each discount code do not conflict with one another.
- If you are using discount apps or integrations may not support stacking multiple discounts.Check app documents or or contact their support
- Check Custom code conflicts if you have done this with the help of developer
- Disable conflicting apps

Whatâs the order total? Iâm guessing maybe when the LAUNCH10 code is applied, the total gets below $100 and so the KOOZIE100 discount is not valid anymore. Or it might be the other way around.
I thought that too so I created a total close to $200 and it still did not work
This whole, âcombining discounts,â is a lie by shopify. You are lying.
It says, âif an item is eligible for multiple discounts, only the largest discounts apply.â
This wouldnt be classified as âcombining,â then would it? The ridiculous side stepping of shopify for the most simple addition to their platform for the massively requested feature of stacking discounts, is getting old.
You know what everyone wants yet you want to play it off like this is actually combining discounts.
Its not combining nothing if you cannot actually stack the discounts.

Are you still finding this to be true? I just finally tried promoting a sale with stackable discounts, and low and behold - they DONâT actually stack like they have been claiming for months. I have NO conflicts with products or qualifying items, no limits, both discounts set up to be âstackableâ, yet they DONâT stack like shopify loves to brag about. Seriously, they love to promote all these great additions, then they half-ass everything to the point it doesnât work.

True. I wanted to combine free shipping with black friday discount but only the black friday one is showing. The only thing that does show from the free shipping discount is the Title at the Checkout but it doesnât apply it.. Definitely a bug. @Shopify_77
We are experiencing the same issue. Is the thread being monitored by Shopify aupport staffs and therefore issue will be fixed instead of having to pay Shopify Partner a fee to fix the issue?

If there are restrictions why are they not told to us?.. Also it seems really lazy to give an option for combining discounts but then just not even include the ability to combine certain ones with others⌠I have one discount that is applying a discount on Y when you buy X and then also a product discount and they wonât combine⌠why? They are both just simple multiplicationâŚ

You will find that many things you would think should work a certain way, in fact only work that way by paying for an app. Shopify leans heavily on their apps.
Did you guys ever find a solution? We are literally following the combining discounts rule to stack them and they still do not work. Asked shopify technician and they just kept sending me the same page, its been 2 years and this part of their functionality is still garbage.

+1 this is still an issue for me! i have basically the same setup. a coupon code for ~10% off, then an automatic discount for a free gift. it wonât combine.
