Why aren't my collection descriptions displaying in the Grid theme?

Hello,

I’d like the descriptions I added to my collections to display on the catalog. The collection titles are visible but not the descriptions. Is there a way to enable this? I didn’t see an option for this in the theme editor. Thank you in advance for your help.

Using a paid theme - GRID

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Products > Collections.

  2. Click the name of the collection that you want to update.

  3. On the collection details page, enter a new title or a new description.

  4. Click Save.

Hi @Jocilyn0909 ,

Please follow these steps to add the collection description to your collection pages:

  • From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes > Customize

  • From the page select menu, select the Collections > Default Collection

  • From the left menu, click on Collection pages

  • Check the “Show description” box

  • Hit Save
