I’m having a very strange issue when editing code files on the Dawn theme. When I make changes to CSS the updates only sometimes take effect. I have tried a new CSS file and importing it into another which worked great, but then after trying to save a second update the site stopped showing the updates. Creating a new file and copying over the data seemed to work and it saved fine but I was still getting issues with new changes not showing up. Even stranger, if I made a new CSS file and copied over new changes to it and only imported that file, I would receive the old CSS from a completely different file, showing up under this new files name.
I know that sounds a bit confusing, and it is. No idea why my changes are only saving some of the time or even how it could pull data from an old CSS file and attach it to a new one with a different name.
I’ve tried clearing cache/cookies, using different browsers, using incognito mode, and as I’ve described, creating new files with no luck. Any help would be appreciated!
