Why aren't my product titles displaying correctly?

Please help. I believe this is costing me customer conversions.

Hi, @bahabeauty .

Thanks for reaching out and including a screenshot for better visibility!

Could you advise what theme you’re using, have there been any recent changes made to your theme code or newly installed apps?

In the meantime you can share your store URL here to see if we’re able to replicate the issue. I’ll also share a couple troubleshooting steps to see if the issue carries out.

Troubleshooting steps:

Through the screenshot you’ve shared I can see you have a great makeup business you’ve started. I’d love to hear more about what inspired you to start and how the permanent makeup option works.

I wanted to share some ways to help boost brand visibility for your makeup brand using Instagram and other social media outlets. Have you already had a chance to create an Instagram Business Account for your makeup brand? If not, this can help reach a larger audience, showcase your brand and potentially create new customers. Once you’ve setup your account, check out our Shopify blog resource for tips and tricks when it comes to tagging your products on Instagram.

Looking forward to your response!

Hi Victoria! Thank you. I have attached a screenshot of the themes. Honestly, I don’t remember what I did but I don’t know code so I have not went in and altered that.

My website is: https://face-artist-pro.myshopify.com/

The only thing with the tips you provided, since I am not that shopify savvy I am nervous to not be able to change it back or mess something up.

Thanks for your prompt reply!

Based on the screenshot you’ve shared, it looks like you’re using Debutify which is a third-party theme. Since this is a third-party theme not powered by Shopify, you can contact our support team to connect you with the third-party developer, or get support directly through their contact center here.

If you’re hesitant with trying the troubleshooting methods, you can always duplicate your theme to create a backup copy. This helps to discard your changes and start again if you need to.

When previewing your store in a fresh Shopify theme, you do not need to publish this theme. You can download a free theme from the Theme Store and it will appear in your theme library. From there, you can select Actions > Preview next to the newly installed Shopify theme.

When it comes to rolling back your theme code, you can select a time and date and click preview to see if the issue has been resolved. Clicking a date stamp will roll the code back to that saved version. You can click Current under the date stamp to revert back to the current theme you have as this will not affect your theme.

When I navigated to your storefront and selected the Makeup Mannequin Set I was not able to see the product title. However, after highlighting where the product title should be I was able to view it. I’ll share a screenshot of this below. Perhaps the product title is the same color as the store’s background? Let me know if you’re able to see this on your end.

To fix this you can navigate to your Online Store > Themes section and select Customize next to your active theme. Within the theme editor, select Theme Settings. From there, click COLORS and change the color for Headings and links.

Let us know if this helped resolve your issue!

Omg going into the theme settings and changing the color worked amazingly!! Thank you so much!
