Why can I still access my closed store?

I closed one of my stores, but I can still work on it until now

Typically this can occur for a few reasons. First, this may occur if during the cancellation process you accidentally closed the screen before the system had a chance to process the request. The second reason this may have occurred is if you have two account’s open with similar names. You may have closed one and are signed into the second account.

To ensure the account is closed you can follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your Shopify Admin
  2. On the bottom left, click on Settings and then click on Plan and Permissions.
  3. From here, scroll down to Store Status and click Sell or Close Store.
  4. Follow the prompts to complete the cancellation. At this point, you can provide us with feedback about how we can improve.
  5. Once you’ve closed your store, you won’t be charged again in the future.
