Hello all. I have customers having issues getting to checkout. The latest issue the customer could not get 3 into the cart - stopped her at 2. The it never brought her to checkout. I cna’t see anything in settings or anywhere causing the problem. Anyone have an idea what could help?
Check for store issues https://www.shopifystatus.com/
Others don’t know what you know, for them to see or diagnose technical issues or corroborate everything’s working you must communicate specifics.
Store url, storefront password, theme name, any apps involved etc etc

If lucky here it’s just user error, The second screenshot clearly shows the user is trying to add 3 items when only 2 are available and in different themes this can cause different behavior like disabling add-to-cart buttons or checkout buttons.
That is a result of inventory tracking and NOT allowing checkouts when there is no inventory.

If that is what’s going on and there are continued issues with multiple other customers then consider improving the visual emphasis of the error message. More reports from different individuals can be also indicative of a less technically savvy audience having other such unreported problems throughout the sites design that lead to high bounce rates.
If you recently installed/updated any apps/scripts that affect the frontend disable or uninstall them and test again.
Same for new payment methods.
Good hunting.
Hi @worldpeaces ,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry to hear your customers have trouble placing their order.
It looks like that the customer is trying to add three items to the cart while only 2 is available/in stock. Can you please head to this product in the admin and advise on stock levels and statues, so we can troubleshoot further?
Also, it would be helpful if you could share this product link to your store, so I can try to replicate the issue on my end. Thanks.
