Why can't customers order due to changed shipping rates?

hello,

I moved country, before i was living in Canada now i live in the USA i went and change my shipping rates and now when a customer want to order it doesn’t let them . it says that the item cant be shipping at their address .

can you please help me

A few questions to help troubleshoot this issue:

  1. Did you update your address in Settings/General?
  2. Did you update/remove locations in Settings/Locations?
  3. Do you have shipping rates for the country that the customer is trying to purchase from?

One other thing to check is your inventory. If you have your inventory appearing at your old address, but only have shipping rates for your new location, then that can cause an error at checkout as you do not have inventory at the new location. You can learn how to transfer your inventory here.
