I need REAL HELP…8 days and 1-2 hours a day in chats or on phone with Shopify and Google. Neither can verify my domain.
Hey Caela,
So are you trying to verify the domain in Shopify?
Who do you have the domain registered through as you will need access to the DNS for the domain to make a few changes.
Hello @Caela ,
I am Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot. I am here to support you.
If you’re encountering a failure in verifying your domain on Shopify, there are various factors that could be causing this problem. Here are some suggestions to troubleshoot and solve the issue.
→ Ensure that you have accurately configured your domain settings within Shopify. Access your Shopify admin panel, go to Online Store → Domains, and verify that your domain is entered correctly and spelled accurately.
→ Confirm that your DNS settings are set up correctly. It is important to make sure that your domain’s DNS records point to the appropriate Shopify servers. Shopify offers detailed instructions on how to correctly configure DNS settings. Refer to their documentation and compare it with the settings provided by your domain registrar.
→ Clear your browser cache and attempt the verification process again. Sometimes, cached data in your browser can interfere with the domain verification process. By clearing the cache, you ensure that you’re viewing the most recent information.
→ Keep in mind that DNS changes may take a while to propagate fully. Typically, it takes a few hours, but occasionally it may take up to 48 hours for the changes to take effect. If you’ve recently made any changes to your DNS settings, wait for some time and try the verification process again later.
→ If you’re still encountering issues, there may be a problem with your domain registrar or the domain itself. Reach out to your domain registrar’s support team and explain the specific problem you’re facing. They should be able to provide further assistance in resolving any domain-related issues.
If none of the above mentioned steps resolve the problem, get in touch with Shopify’s support team for further assistance.
Don’t hesitate to ask if you need any further clarification.
Gina

Lastly, I was told yesterday by a Shopify chat person that “it” was fixed and I need to wait 24-72 hours. WILL SEE…and thank you again.
