Why can't I access my product editing page on my online store?

Hi, for nearly 3 months I have not been able to access the editing page for my stores main product. This is the product that almost all of our visitors land on and makes up more than 90% of our revenue.
When trying to access the edit page I get this message:

"There’s a problem loading this page

There’s a technical problem with Shopify that has prevented this page from loading. Try reloading this page or going to another page in Shopify. If that doesn’t work, visit our status page for updates and try again later."

This means I am not able to change pricing, photos, descriptions, or update stock levels. Shopify support has assured me that the tech team is looking into it, but after waiting for nearly 3 months, I doubt this will ever be fixed. They refuse to give me a timeframe at all.

Does anypone have a solution to this problem? Is there a work-around?

Please share the screenshot or video of your problem.

Thanks!

Hi Dmwwebartisan, here’s a screenshot below.

This is what I see when I try to go into our product to edit it.

This page usually indicates that there might be a domain situation that will need to be corrected. It will pop up often if a domain hasn’t been chosen as a primary domain in your admin.

It looks like we’ll need to access your account in order to resolve this issue. While we’re not able to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community at this time, we’d be happy to continue assisting you through live chat, email, or callback. Please visit https://bit.ly/3cJkx8V and log in to your account to create a support request.

In order to save some time, and help the Support Advisor you speak with to pick up from where you and I have left off, I am going to provide you with a summary of the issue as I understand it. You can share this summary at the beginning of your conversation with the agent to bring you both up to speed and help to get your answers as quickly as possible.

Issue Summary: Unable to load site, missing primary domain

Since this is the next step I’ve marked this reply as the solution for the benefit of others who may discover this topic.

Be sure to provide the Support Advisor with the screenshot you have posted here. This will help them identify the issue quicker.

Thanks again, however I have already been speaking with the agents for many months now. It seems as though they are unwilling or unable to fix this problem
