If so, there are a few limitations to the trial period. While you can take advantage of the features available to you before actually committing, trial periods are designed to have an inactive checkout by default. This restricts customers from successfully checking out, but allows you to ensure Shopify is the right fit before signing up for a paid plan.
As there are various features you do have the advantage of testing out, I have outlined below a complete list of everything that is available to you during the trial period:
- Adding products and product details to make sure they display correctly on your online store.
- Creating collections to organize your products.
- Setting up Shopify Payments or checking that the third-party payment provider that you want to use is supported by Shopify.
- Familiarize yourself with the Settings page in your Shopify admin to learn how to configure taxes, shipping, and other sales channels.
- Visit Shopify Theme Store and the Shopify App Store to get an idea of what you might want your store to look like and to find any apps to expand on what you can do with your store.
