Why can't I click on anything while editing my theme?

Hi, today I ran into a problem with my store where I can’t barely click on anything whilst editing my theme, I can’t even click on theme settings.

I can only click the little tiny shade and thats about it, I can’t even click the whole thing.

The same problem goes for the codes. I recently installed CJ dropshipping and authorized it to shopify, I reauthorized it thinking it would be the problem but I kept searching for solutions online and nothing

Hi @Sych ! Thank you for the screenshot and details about what you are experiencing.

I was not able to replicate this issue on my own test store, but I did see a similar forum post that looks like what you are experiencing: Firefox live editing not possible - Shopify Community . Are you also trying to use Firefox? And if yes, can you confirm what operating system you are on and what version of firefox you are using? I would also try in the Chrome browser to see if the issue persists there.

If you haven’t yet, please do a full browser cache and cookie clear, ensure your browser is fully up to date, and also try in an incognito window.

If the issue is still persisting after taking those steps you will want to reach out to our live support so that we can test and see if we can replicate from within your store admin. If we can, then we can escalate this to our technical team for a closer look.

I’m currently using the latest firefox version and my operating system is Windows 10 (Home)

It works fine on chrome, for now I’ll just use shopify on chrome instead of firefox

Hello, not sure why this is an accepted solution. It does not work, even after clearing the cache/history/etc. Newest version of Firefox installed (102.0.1).

There is also another bug introducted recently. In the code editor, the horizontal scroll bar is not visible unless you scroll right to the bottom of the file. This makes editing code quite frustrating.

It appears that recent changes have broken a lot of site functionality.

Hi @RDHAdmin I am using Firefox version 103.0 on my windows 11 PC without issue. I might recommend uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox to see if you are able to get that last update bump in the browser version.

Just replying again here as it was confirmed on another thread that it is a Firefox issue, and Shopify are investigating. Thanks for checking it @Shay on the other thread (more info was provided on the other thread and they could replicate the issue we are seeing).
