I’m trying to set up my first Shopify store and currently losing my patience
For some reason, it doesn’t allow to go through with the checkout because of the next message:
This order can’t be shipped to the address you entered. Review your address to ensure that all fields have been entered correctly and try again.
I believe I have managed to successfully set up shipping rates and zones, markets and everything else but looks like something else is missing. Has someone else ever encountered this issue? Thanks!
Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.
I understand that setting up your shipping can be challenging, however, once you’re finished setting it up, you won’t have to worry about it! The shipping error that you mentioned is very common and can be ironed out through some troubleshooting. Here are a few solutions that you can double check:
Are all of the products in the cart available in the location it’s shipping from? You can check this by heading over to your product page in the Shopify Admin, check the Location section, and see which locations are available.
Another common issue is that your product does not have an assigned weight. This is essential when using weight based or carrier calculated shipping. You can also confirm this on the product page in the Shopify Admin.
I’d like to gather some information beforehand. For instance, what does your shipping strategy look like? Do you offer flat fee, weight based, or carrier calculated shipping?

Thanks a lot for your time! None of these have worked
Perhaps I should have mentioned this is a dropshipping business. On one hand, I have connected and ordered something trough Printful that did get to my house. My problem seems to be with the products imported from Spocket. I tried reviewing my setting in Spocket also but nothing. Anything else that comes to mind? Thanks
Nevermind… I cannot believe I just managed to make it work!
So, in the end, what happened was that I thought I had everything set up but it was a misconception. I believed I had some carriers set up and their rates would be applied. I went back, deleted every shipping zone and created a unique one for Europe. Then, I realized there are no carriers or rates for the whole of Europe. Possibly because of how many regions there are? So I went with 3 different flat rates for carts priced 0-50e, 50-100e and +100e
With that, I managed to make a purchase!!!
I believe if I want to use the carriers rates I should be more specific about the zones? As in, perhaps focus in a per country zone/rate? Thanks a lot. At least I can now work with this!
I’m glad to hear that you were able to solve this issue by setting up flat rates for your international orders. Generally, you should be able to set up carrier calculated rates for your international orders as long as your carrier supports international shipping. Since you’re using a third party app, setting up carrier calculated rates does not seem to be possible. Instead, you have the option to offer free shipping, flat shipping rates, or group shipping rates. Check out the Spocket guide on how to do this here. You’ll likely want to focus on adding rates on a country to country basis to offer the most accurate shipping fees.
