Why can't I connect Facebook as a sales channel due to PayPal issues?

I cannot connect a Facebook account as a sales channel.

It says “Needs Attention”. When I click on “Needs Attention” it brings me to a page with a message "This sales channel needs your attention “Facebook & Instagram does not have PayPal activated.”. When I click “Open Sales Channel” it brings me to a page that says “Your shop is missing PayPal as a payment method”. There is a button that says “Connect PayPal”. When I click THAT, it brings me to a page for “Store Details” with NOTHING about PayPal or what to do next.

How do I solve this mess?

Did you get this figured out? I was fine and all of a sudden it says that paypal is not connected.

This is the same problem I am having, when I click the button to connect my paypal to the facebook insta, the button does nothing, it pushes, turns grey for a split second like its clicked but it does nothing, I have tried on 3 different browsers as well.
