I’m trying to connect my Facebook account to Shopify and I’m choosing the check out method of Facebook and Instagram and it will not allow me to go to the next step when I click Create New under the Facebook Commerce Account section. Can someone help?

I’ll be happy to help walk you through the steps so you’re able to have this checkout feature on your store. During the process of connecting your Facebook account to Shopify, is there any error message that appears when you’re selecting “Create New?”
In order to have the checkout enabled for Facebook and Instagram, your store needs to be approved by Facebook.
A few other requirements for this checkout feature are:
- You’ll need to set up a Facebook Business Manager and ensure that it’s connected to your business’s Facebook Page to use the checkout feature on Instagram.
- Your Facebook Business Account must be connected to your Instagram Business account.
Your products on Shopify must follow the below requirements in order to have the checkout on Facebook and Instagram enabled:
- Products must follow Facebook’s Commerce Policies.
- Products must follow Shopify Payments Terms of Service.
- Products also need to be approved by Facebook, and can’t be restricted products as outlined in Facebook’s Commerce Policies.
