Same issue for me. When I click on the Pinterest tab on the left under ‘Sales Channels’ I just get a grey screen with the text ‘(my shopname) refused to connect’

You need to have a pinterest ad account. Check If your country is available. Pinterest business account is different from pinterest ad account.
