Why can't I connect to TikTok even with the latest app version?

I have the app installed but when it goes connect after I log in it says update to the latest version of the app but there is no update!

Can you let me know if the error message is occurring during the login stage, particularly when the system is asking you to enter a verification code?

If this is the case, you can follow the steps below to begin with so that we can rule out any potential browser or device caching issue that may be preventing you from logging in:

  • Try to login on the TikTok sales channel via an incognito window
  • Or, you can use your usual browser but to clear the browser’s cookies and cache prior to accessing your account to re-try the login attempt
  • You can also try another browser. For example, if you’re using Safari, you can try using Chrome or Firefox. We find that Chrome tends to work best, so give it a try on your end if you haven’t already done so
  • You can also try to use another device, such as your mobile or a tablet

I tried that and I did finally get past that error and then it said I
needed an updated version of the app but there is no updates
