Why is there go way to get ahold of anyone at Shopify I just spent days creating my website finally went live sent my link to my whole family and now it’s unavailable and I’m locked out. No explanation and no way to get ahold of anyone, what is going on
Same issues. No reply or solution from them
This makes no sense, how are you going to take it down and not have anyway to contact them, and they don’t even tell you why they took it down
I finally got a response, they are saying they are unsure why a lot of
sites are becoming inactive but they are working on a solution, they que is
full so live chat is unavailable and they no longer use phone support and
chat takes about 3 hours to get a reply but I emailed them a screenshot of
my site and requested help. They escalated it and will be reviewing so it
will take about 24-72 hours. It’s not much but I hope this helps!
having the same issue and i cant even do live chat i only just made my store and havent even launched it yet… i emailed them the only response i got was we have to transfer you to someone else… its been 24 hours and still nothing… im about to give up on shopify
Yea I spent days working on mine finally went live not even 30 minutes later I lost everything, I worked so hard and was so exited to launch and than this
Well today marks day 2 ni response at all I’m about to just give up on Shopify it’s really disappointing all the effort I put into my store just to no be able to launch it
Same here, still nothing. I am too disappointed because I spent hours
creating it. Now I can’t even delete it. I would suggest trying another
site as well. Because their customer service is seriously lacking.
I was told to try and make another store well I did and it was automatically closed.. I’m gonna just go to square ![]()

Could you share a bit more info with me here about what happens when you try to access your store currently and what you were doing around when it became inaccessible to you?
If you can check your account owner’s email address to see if you have been contacted by any of our teams about this.
You can check in your ‘spam’ or ‘other’ folders as emails like this are sometimes filtered there by email providers.

I think I’m just going to take my business else where my website is now going on day 3 of being down and still no response as to why, this is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with

I agree I had to email them to demand my account be deactivated and that my cc info was removed because it was ridiculous, nothing but the same auto responses from customer service team and no solution or reason imy stuff to be inactive and I just started it. I’m looking into other platforms now and I wish you and your business the best of luck ![]()
