Why can't I edit a pending fulfillment order?

I’m trying to edit an order that was placed today. Need to delete one item and add another. I’ve followed the help guide to no avail. When I click on edit I get the payment information but not the items ordered so am unable to edit. Order says pending fulfillment.

Just to clarify, has the order already been paid for? After an order is paid, you can edit it by adding items, removing items, and adjusting item quantities. You can edit an order only if it was placed less than 60 days ago. You need to also be the store owner or have the Edit orders permission. Learn more about Staff permissions.

May I ask if the order was placed in a different currency to your store’s currency? If your store sells in multiple currencies, then you can edit only orders that are in your store’s currency. Furthermore, if you are using a fulfillment app this may impact your ability to edit the order.
