It is because you selected the “starter” plan ($5/mo)
You can only edit specific themes, sections, etc. It is designed primarily for selling on social media. You will need to upgrade to the second cheapest plan to gain access to the features you describe.

Thanks for the reply. Wasn’t aware of this and no warning given guess i should read the whole guidance first. Is there no way of editing the theme if i’m on the basic sub? All i want to do is add an about page.
