I believe I have full ownership of my Shopify store and website. I’m currently trying to get everything situated but unfortunately, when I try to setup my payment method, it says “Only account owners can edit this information”. I can edit everything else just fine and haven’t had this issue pop up yet.

Managing payment options is an action that is only available to the store owner so you should recheck who’s listed as the store owner by clicking on Settings > Users and permissions in your Shopify admin. If it’s not you so it’s essential to ask the owner to transfer store ownership to you.
