Hey there, for some reason the sense theme will not change the very first button I’ve come across. This is my first time editing the tool so I am hoping I am just missing something easy. The button just says “Button label” currently and for some reason it only changes color when I change the text color which is not how that should work. Any suggestions?
Topic summary
Issue: The first button in the Sense theme cannot be styled via the usual button color settings. It only changes when the global text color is modified, appears semi‑translucent, and shows the default “Button label” text.
What’s been tried: Another participant tested Sense and said the button edits work normally via theme customize, but did not provide specific steps.
Clarification: The original poster notes other buttons on the page respond correctly to the button color options, but the very first button is instead tied to the page text color for unknown reasons.
Open questions: Which specific setting or section controls the styling of that first button, and why is it linked to text color rather than button color? No confirmed fix or guidance yet.
Notes: A screenshot is attached and central to understanding the button’s appearance.
Hi @Artorius
I just try to check the Sense theme, and I see the function works normally
That isn’t exactly a suggestion or helpful. Can you at least provide what you did so I know what options should be changing this button?
Hi @Artorius
I only edit the button normally in theme customize.
Can you share more detail, how you cannot edit the button?
It only changes color when I change the text color options. No other color option changes what that button looks like. The color options labeled for buttons change the colors of the other buttons on the page just not the very first button you see on the screen. That button is tied to the color of the page text for some reason and is semi-translucent.
