Why can't I enter a complete US contact number in my store details?

So my store is registered in US, but i am unable to enter complete US Contact No in store details i.e. with “+1” code. Msg pops out stating “Phone must have 10 Digits”. Whereas it will make it 12 including + and 1.

If anyone could help ?

if it is registered in the us, won’t it already consider the +1 as something that should exist without you having to write it?

Thanks for your post. As @Uhrick mentioned, you can simply enter the phone number without the +1. You’ll just need to include the 3 digit area code and the 7 digit phone number.
