Why can't I find the 'Collections' option in the Shopify admin area?

Hi,

I just started with a free-trial plan in order to learn more about Shopify. After I log in to my Shopify account, I don’t see ‘Collections’ option on the left-side menu in the admin area (it’s supposed to be just under ‘Product’ menu as far as I saw on some tutorials).

Is this option available for the paid-plans only, or something went wrong here?

My question refers to the missing ‘Collection’ option in the admin area that usually shows up on the left hand side with other options.

Hi @yellowlab ,

That option should be available on all plans.

You may try these actions below to see if it works:

  • Clear your cache and cookies on your browser.

  • Try a different web browser.

  • Try the incognito mode.

  • Try another internet connection.

  • Ensure you have disabled any firewalls or pop-up blockers/browser extensions enabled on the device as these can interfere.

I’ve tried but it doesn’t work. I don’t see many options such as Collections, Pages, Navigation, Blogs. If I type what I search for in the search bar, I get a result list with the desired options, but when I click on it, the next says: “There is no page at this address”.

I just contacted Shopify Customer center and they helped me with this question. I have to choose a plan in order to see these options available through Themes settings. I’m still using a free-trial account and that’s the reason.
