I can’t find the option to upload the identity documents for verification.

Generally, there will be a red banner added to your Shopify admin or you receive an email asking you for those details, so just need to click on Upload document as a picture attached below.
In case you couldn’t find an upload section on the Shopify admin, the best way is to contact Shopify Support directly to have them check it for you.
You could refer to this link, log in to your store account then type in a topic in the search bar, for example, " couldn’t upload the identity documents " and select Search.
On the following page, scroll down to Get Support and click Continue and you’ll be presented with options to contact their Support via chat, email, or schedule a call-back.
