I looked up the info for canceling and it says to go to settings on my home page..The only problem is there is no Settings tab on my home page??

Are you looking for information on how to cancel your Shopify store subscription? I can help you with that, however I’d love some more context as to why you would like to deactivate your store? Are you a new entrepreneur and just starting out?
Have you considered moving to the annual plan to cut costs? You would save $36/year on your subscription by choosing the annual Basic Shopify plan. As a free bonus you get Custom calculated rates included which is an additional saving of $240 or a free custom domain. That’s a total savings of $276 if you need the Custom calculated option!
In order to close your store, did you check out our help doc here? You should have a settings tab within your admin on the bottom left, here is a screenshot for reference.
