Why can't I find the Shopify Payments option in my account settings?

Hello,

I have tried following these steps to activate shop pay.

From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Payments.

In the Shopify Payments section, click Manage.

In the Shop Pay section, check Shop Pay

Click Save

However, there is no such option in my account. It should be at the top, I believe. My first option is only to choose a 3rd party provider. I know my Stripe account would work as I had it previously connected. But, I would like to use Shopify Pay Instead. I am located in the US, also I do believe I had Shopify pay enabled at one point, for some reason I went to Stripe (don’t know why) but now I cant get Pay back.

Thanks for helping, but the steps you sent me are already the ones I have tried. The options to pick Shopify payments just aren’t there. I’m based in the US so I should have it but my first option is the 3rd party payment providers followed by Paypal, Amazon Pay, etc.

No option for Shopify pay.
