Why can't I load my online store even after troubleshooting?

Hello, I can’t seem to open my store even from chrome, I have tried restarting my laptop and restarting my connection but it’s still not loading. Will you please help? I’ve also tried erasing my cookies and data. I think it must be from adding large pictures. Will you help me soon?

Sorry to hear that this is happening.
Could you please confirm - are you only having issues getting into your storefront, or is there a problem when you try to login to your Shopify admin as well? If you’re comfortable with that, please also include a link to your online store just so I can take a closer look for myself.

You have taken the right steps already in trying to clear the cache on your Google Chrome browser - since this did not help, there are a couple of other things you can do to try and troubleshoot this:

  • Try using an alternative device - i.e. if you have already looked at this from a mobile device, try to check it from a desktop.
  • Check that your Chrome browser is fully up to date - this can be done by following these steps here.
  • Try to reset your internet - the internet connection can sometimes be related and cause similar issues.

If all of the above fails, please get back to me with the URL of the store or at least a screenshot of what you’re seeing when you try to load the store so I can take a closer look at it for you.

On a side note, you did mention that you had concerns over this being related to large images uploaded to your storefront - while it is not likely that this is related, I did want to share our Resizer Tool with you in case you’re having this issue in the future.
