Why can't I log into my admin account due to a 400 bad request error?

When logging in i get

400 Bad Request
Request Header Or Cookie Too Large
nginx

What should i do?

For the active status of your store or admin you can always check: https://www.shopifystatus.com/ .

If you keep getting this error, try to delete your cookies and clear browser data.

The error message 400 Bad Request Request Header Or Cookie Too Large nginx indicates that the server is rejecting the request because the request header or cookie is too large. If the size of the header or cookie exceeds the limit set by the server, it will reject the request and return a 400 Bad Request error.

@ThomKnepper has provided a great suggestion for clearing your cookies and cache. Additionally, I recommend rebooting the browser after clearing your cache and trying a different web browser, as well as incognito or private windows to rule out any browser issues.
