Why can't I login to my eshop account?

Hello, I can’t login to my eshop account, eshop has two users and the other user is there but I can’t login. It just created a new store which I don’t want. Could I request a fix?

I’d love to offer some assistance. Are you unable to log into your online store? If you are, there’s a likelihood that the email you used to log in isn’t what’s associated with your store. Whenever a new store is created when you log in, it means there’s an account that’s connected to the email.

To try to determine what your email is, you can use this recovery tool. You can enter all your email addresses here. If a store is associated with any of them, you will get an email containing the store information. You can then log in using the right email address. Alternatively, if the other staff member has permission to manage users and permissions, you can have the other staff member log into the store and check the email address associated with your account.

When I logged into Shopify with my email, it automatically created a new eshop with nothing in it.

So I told the other person to try to check it and he was on his account and saw that I had just connected to Shopify and it was on the eshop we have working. The account just has this email listed as the main email, so that’s 100% the email I used.

Also, the person logged in under that email as well and everything worked. He then logged out again and went to his email.

When I use the Recovery Tool, I only see the newly created one there, but I don’t see the main one.

I tried with the advisor but that didn’t work either. Unfortunately the AI is not very good at this.

I’ll try another option and create a third user with a different email and see, but it’s very strange.
