I’ve spent hours trying use your editor and frankly, it’s absolutely terrible. I can rarely save changes and the publish button has disappeared entirely from the top of the site. I had no problem arranging items, inserting text and building professional pages on Wix before paying one of your developers to rebuild my site in Shopify. Now that I have ownership and need to address their poor design, this editor just won’t resize images or publish my changes. I’m at my wits end. The whole them concept makes it very limiting. The hero image won’t resize. I don’t get why it has to be so hard to make changes and publish them. Can someone please help?

Here is some important information you should know.
- If you are using a trial version of paid themes, then you can only customize the theme from the theme editor, you can make changes to this type of theme through customization, and once you purchase the theme then only you will get an option to publish the theme.
- You may need to clear the cache on your browser if the issue continues.
- If you are using any free theme then the Publish option will appear as shown in the below screenshot.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately the theme that the
developer purchased is limited in its ability to be edited so im paying a
local developer to redevelop the homepage for me using a new custom
template. I just don’t understands why Shopify cannot offer a general self
build interface like wix with easy drag and drop features and the ability
to make easy, dynamic changes. I can design anything but coding is very
limited. Hence, I have to pay someone else.
