Why can't I purchase a new theme on my account?

I am unable to buy any new themes at the minute. I have used the trial and now I want to buy it. When I click on Buy Theme it just takes me to the Shopify themes landing page. This happens with all themes.

Hi there, @jennyg3011 . Thanks for reaching out to the Shopify Community today with your theme situation here. I hope you’re doing well. I’m happy to take some time to see if we can get to the bottom of what is going on here.

First, Can you let me know what theme you were trying to purchase?

Usually when we see an issue like this, it’s a local browser issue, and can be resolved pretty quick! I’m going to provide you with some steps below that I’d like you to try, and please follow up with me here to let me know how things go:

  • Using a different internet browser, login to your Shopify account and visit the Theme Store. Attempt to purchase the Theme through that different browser
  • Use a private/incognito browser and complete the same step in the above point
  • Try using a different device to see if you can complete the purchase through there if the above options don’t work.
  • Clear your cache/cookies of your original browser you were using and try the steps in the above points.

If you give all of the above steps a try and nothing does the trick, please follow up with me here and let me know. Also, make sure that when you’re in the Shopify Theme Store that you’re logged into your account! Sometimes folks forget this step!
