We have a new shopify business after being convinced to move from WooCommerce.
After 1 month we are still unable to get a payout and are owed north of 14k.
All the info is submitted, then rejected 3 days later. We re-submitted and no change. The customer service agent tells us it is out of their hands. “It’s on the hands now of our Business Operations team and our banking partners and we don’t have direct contact with them.” We have asked for direct contact with the Business operations team and no way they will do this. IN the meantime we go in circles with the same reply… do we have to wait for 2 months, 6 months? Why can we not talk to a real person on the phone?
Shopify hold our money and likely makes interest, while at the same time giving us no visibility. I know my customers would never stand for this and I would never treat a customer this way. Shopify Shame on you!!!
So our options are to company to the BBB in the USA, and other commercial complaint agencies.
How about treating your customers like real people rather than just a number to make your stock look good.
