Why can't I register my domain with Namecheap and set DNS labels?

I can’t get the domain to register with namecheap. I go to the DNS and can’t get shopify to followup with the DNS labels. What am I doing wrong?

In order to connect a domain registered with Namecheap to Shopify, you need to:

  • Add the domain or subdomain to your Shopify account.

  • Set up necessary records for your root domain and subdomain(s) in your Namecheap account.

After you have connected your domain/subdomain to your Shopify store, there are two ways you can point your domain name registered with Namecheap to your store:

After following the instructions listed above, ensure you wait up to 30 minutes for the records to be accepted, and then click verify connection in the Shopify admin to confirm that your custom domain is connected to your store.
