I am exploring a paid theme (Impulse) and currently I am reviewing it in trial mode. I am exploring adding my logo, editing sections, etc but the “save” button is grayed out. I know I can’t publish a theme until it I pay for it, but I thought I would be able to save my edits as I explore if this is a theme I want to purchase? Can I really not save any progress until I purchase it?

We can’t save any changes to the paid theme without purchasing them first. It’s quite an unusual feature that shopify has.
Clearing cache and cookies didn’t work, the save button is still grayed out.
