Hi all, we use a collection app on our Shopify store which automatically tags an order with the customers collection date, and this then allows us to search using the date tag at any time and see what orders we have coming up in that particular month. We’re a food business so it helps us to plan ahead with ingredients etc.
For some reason we cannot search for any orders where the tag contains ‘September’. We’ve checked all of our orders which are due to be collected in September and all of the orders are tagged with the collection date containing the word ‘September’, however when we go to ‘Orders’ >>>>> then >>>>> ‘More Filters’, then >>>>>>>‘Tagged With’ and search ‘September’ nothing comes up. We can search and view orders which contain other months in the tag, for example July & August, however for some reason when we search ‘September’ in the tag section nothing comes up.
That is a great question, Inventory management is whole mess in it’s self.
People have asked us if our app can do that, and while we specialized in Sales analysis, some people evidently use it to track inventory.
I suspect they use the Segments feature to sort by tags. We pull from all customer tags not just active or fulfilled ones.
