Why can't I see my sales in the analytics dashboard on the basic plan?

Hi, I recently started my store using the basic plan and currently have Stripe as my payment provider. Do you know why I can´t see the sales in the analytics dashboard? I made a sale recently and the amount is indeed in my Stripe account but I can´t visualize it on the Shopify dashboard. Store adderss is www.clarayema.shop

Is this because I am on the basic plan?

Thanks!

Hey, @psalvatella

Thanks for reaching out! Was this order processed at an earlier date than today? In your screenshot, the report is for all sales on today only:

You can change the date range by clicking on that and adjusting it to show for the entire month of September. If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.

Hi Dirk, it was indeed made today! It is the only sale made so far.

As you can see the conversion rate does have that only session converted. The problem is I don´t see the amount..

The Shopify has delay on data analytics sometimes. Does it show up for the orders from previous days like yesterday? Check again tomrrow, it doesn’t show up, then Shopify definitely has issues with in-synced data.

Great!! I´ll check tomorrow!

You are welcome. Good luck to your new store!

This is good to know! While we usually tell clients to wait to check out sales, it’s good to know that there can be a delay on the back end and our customers could end up waiting longer than expected in order to get the conversion and sales report data. We will make sure to keep this in mind when answering questions about any client reports in the future.

This is really great to know! Knowing and understanding the analytics around your store is essential, and it’s really good to see how some of the stuff on the backend of the software works. We will have to remember this as we help our clients look at sales and work out what it is that we need to do and take care of.

Hi @psalvatella ,

An easy way to solve this is with spreadsheets and dashboards in Sourcetable. Just sync the Shopify and Stripe data integrations and any report you build will stay up to date within ~15 minutes.

Hope that helps, and congrats on the sale!

A bit late to the discussion here, but if it helps anyone else, I’m adding my answer below too.

There is a bit of delay in showing data under Analytics. That said, I’d also suggest using Airboxr (my app) to get your key metrics faster—not just from Shopify, but also your ad channels, email channels, and traffic measurement channels. You can get key performance metrics such as sales, customers, orders, MER, ROAS, LTV etc. through an interactive dashboard. Plus, you can create more detailed automated reports that deliver your analytics directly to Google Spreadsheets. Here are some examples of spreadsheet automations.

Do try it out if you haven’t already!
