Why can't I see the menu bar in my Dawn theme on Shopify?

Hello everyone,

I am new to shopify. I chose basic plan which is $5/month. I am using Dawn theme, but I can’t use menu bar.

I searched a lot on the internet.

menu bar, collection, megaobject.

Both I can’t use it. Upgrade plan is the only way to settle it?

You can check a few possibilities which lead to the issue:

  1. Theme settings:
    Double-check if there are settings related to the menu in your Dawn theme’s customization panel. Or In your Shopify admin, navigate to “Online Store” > “Navigation.” Ensure that you have your menus set up correctly. You can create custom menus and link them to various parts of your store.

  1. Technical issue
    The menu bar might occasionally become unexpectedly hidden due to conflicts with certain third-party apps’ styling. To troubleshoot this, you could consider temporarily disabling these apps to see if the issue persists.

  2. Shopify support
    If you’re still having trouble, consider reaching out to Shopify’s customer support or consulting the official Shopify Help Center

Below online store, I only have 2 options. Theme and Preferences. I can’t see “Navigation”.

Can you try to click on the header and check if the menu is showing up.

If it is not there too, it’s a good idea to contact Shopify’s support directly. They can provide specific assistance based on your account and access to your store to assist you promptly

To contact Shopify support:

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin.
  2. Click on the “Help” icon (question mark) in the bottom-right corner.
  3. Select “Contact support” and follow the prompts to describe the issue.

I have exactly the same problem. Were you able to solve it?? How?

I think Shopify has some server that is not working and they can’t seem to track it down. I’ve been searching for a solution for this, which is 5 months later than your post and I don’t see a viable answer anywhere.. It is crazy actually.
