I want to accept also credit card with “pay as a guest” option, in PayPal:
I Clicked On for PayPal Account Optional
But can’t see this option in my store.. why?

Karlie here from the Shopify Guru Team! I’ve gone through your storefront to see if I could run an order through with a credit card from your PayPal Express. The option for your customers to checkout as a guest and pay with their credit card without having to enter PayPal login details is available in your checkout on your website. If you’re not seeing this option then you may just need to clear your cookies and cache for your browser. Make sure you browser is up to date as well and that should resolve the issue for you!

If you’re not seeing that option via mobile - I would recommend contacting PayPal support. They may be able to tell you more about how to use that feature on a mobile device or dig into the problem for you.

Karlie here from the Shopify Guru team. To enable the ‘Pay as Guest’ feature with your PayPal payment gateway, you would need to adjust some settings from within your PayPal account. From your PayPal Admin, you will want to follow this PayPal Support Guide to help you add that feature.

Shopify offers a default PayPal button after a merchant activates PayPal payment. as I know the default PayPal button does not support the Guest checkout option.
So, please use the native PayPal Smart button if you want to show up the Guest checkout option on your website page.
In the first step, you need to create a PayPal button code via the below tool.
Log in with your live account, customize the button information such as amount, shipping fees, currency, etc. copy the button code after configuration.

In the second step, paste your PayPal button code into your Shopify template at suitable position. if you meet issues on this step, I suggest you contact Shopify support or an expert, since this is out of our knowledge scope.

Hi i got same issue on my website and paypal does not support guest payment on shopify and there is no settings on my settings tool about check out, only what payment gate i can choose, this sucks, i need this otherwise i would have to find another provider for driving my website business!
