When I am trying to set up fb and IG on Shopify to sell on both platform when I get the domain section it’s not allowing me to select any that is there for me to use. It’s saying that another Business Manager account claimed it. But that’s my Account that I use to log in.
Troubleshooting Facebook Business Manager issues can definitely be tricky! A couple of things you can do to help narrow down the issue is to confirm that the business manager account you are signed into through your Shopify admin is the same one you can sign into and see those connected domains.
The best way to do this is to sign into Facebook Business Manager and confirm the URL ID matches the same one in your Facebook sales channel. In the web browser when you sign into your Facebook business account, the URL will look like this:
https://business.facebook.com/home/accounts?business_id= YOURIDNUMBERHERE
That ID number should be the same one you see in your Facebook sales channel through Shopify. And when signed into that matching account number you should have full access to the Facebook Shop, Instagram catalogue and the domain URLs for the store. If you do not, or are unsure if you do, I would recommend contacting Facebook support directly for additional help with troubleshooting this.
